On Sunday Melody and I were walking out to the parking lot after church, when Chet came up to us and said, “So is today the day that you take her for a spin?”
Then he holds out the keys to his Mini Cooper S.
I was stunned, so I didn’t take the keys right away. Chet walked over to his Mini, opened the doors and stuck the key in the ignition.
“Get in you two,” he said.
That was the most fun I’ve ever had driving. 200hp in a tiny, tiny car. I hit 50mph in second without even stressing the engine.
I want one.

I have a feeling he could.
I love that Chet loves his fast car. I love my fast car, but I’m stereotypically supposed too.

btw, it I could afford a new one, I would so trade in my car for a new BMW 135 with sport package (the sport seats are beyond comfortable) in a moment.
