Doctor: “Your eyes seem to stick out quite a bit - have they always been like that?”
Me: “Yeah, my whole life.”
Doctor: “Because that can be a symptom of a rare kind of disease - deposits get made behind the eyes and it pushes them out.”
Me: “No, that’s just the way my eyes are - my friends always make big-eye jokes.”
The doctor just laughs.
I just sigh on the inside.
