I watched The Forbidden Kingdom on Sunday afternoon with Shawn, and have managed to convince myself that I can become a kung fu master.

That’s why I love kung fu movies.  Every time I come away a martial arts expert.

When I’m around elderly people, I’m always worried that my cell phone is going to ring and get them all worked up and confused.  Usually I put it on vibrate or silent, just for that reason.  I can just imagine my phone ringing as they pause to listen more carefully, then lift their head a bit and look around to see what’s making all the noise.  “What is that?!?” they mumble.  “Oh, it’s my cell phone… sorry.”  “Oh…” and I imagine them thinking something about insensitive youths these days.

I’m not saying anything against older people, but for whatever reason I’m always worried about my phone going off and confusing the heck out of them.
