For the last three months or so I have been saving up to buy an R/C helicopter. Last week the day finally came.

Someday I hope to have a nicer one and do things like this.

Here’s a picture of my Uncle Frank (far left, standing). He was the co-pilot of the B-24 called the Briney Marlin.

This is a shot of the right wing after they collided with another B-24 in their formation. The entire crew of the other plane was killed, and two men on the Briney Marlin were killed. You can read about it here.

I’ll keep the topic of immigration reform going, but first I want to show some pictures from our trip to Albuquerque last weekend. It was the end of the International Balloon Fiesta.

On Saturday, eight of us drove up to Bass Lake and rented a patio boat for the afternoon. It was a little colder than I had hoped, but it was an absolutely gorgeous day. We grilled hamburgers for lunch, played Mad Gab, took naps, and fed the ducks. One of the best trips ever, to be sure.
Now, I know you’re all wondering, “Why hasn’t Dave posted about the century ride last weekend?” I assure you, it’s coming, I’m just waiting on some photos.
